Hi, please check these questions for a quiz. The answer is a "hammer".

Thank you. I think both modals 'can' and 'could' can denote both possibility and ability (although the modal 'can' is for the present and 'could' is for a momentary past)

A: Can I replace 'could' here with 'can'? And would it be incorrect?

Thank you. Do you the below is inappropriate eventhough the situation is a quiz, allowing people to ask various types of questions for them to figure out what an object is? I think there is a game like that and it is called "20 Questions."
