Please correct paragraph grammar mistakes or sentencing.

They hesitated a long time before deciding to do an engagement session. They got in New York right before all the flights were cancelled and thought that the photos would be under a gray cloudy sky. But then, the blizzard came…and went to leave behind an amazing Central Park covered in snow. It was sunny today, what a luck! In Central Park, everybody was skiing (really!), riding on sleds… It felt like a holiday!

We crossed the Brooklyn Bridge right after that to take a few more [pictures] with the skyline of Manhattan in the background. There was almost no one there, the snow was blown away by the wind on the top of the buildings.
