Writing Task 2
Some people think that the government should invest in teaching science rather than in other subject for a country development and progress. What extend do you agree or disagree?
It is generally believed that the improvement of a nation engages more investment in educating science than in any other subjects. From my perspective, this idea is completely acceptable owing to the huge impact of science on the modern world.
Firstly, I would argue that science is one of the most crucial fields in this century. Since the global economy is growing and people have been busily working than ever before, a great number of inventions are created to enhance the living conditions and work performance. This requires workers with high education and practical experiences in science. They can provide solutions in many aspects of the environment such as finding the new method to create fuel replacing for the natural resource that is running out. Or they may come up with some creation about new vehicles like a flying bike which can deal with lodged streets and tailbacks.
Secondly, I believe students nowadays can get access to the Internet to studying all the subjects apart from science. For examples, if they prefer learning how to play piano or guitar, they can search for a lecture or an online course. On the other hand, science is a case which involves a lot of time, instruction, experiments and practical observations. Therefore, it is worth investing to support the young generations in the scientific area. It is not only an investment but also an encouragement for students to help to build a better world.
In conclusion, as the two analyzed reasons above, I strongly agree with the idea that the government should spend money on science education mainly.
