My name is Ary. I'm from Indonesia and currently I'm working in X Bank, that's one of the sharia banks in Indonesia (we prefer to call sharia rather than islamic). I looked your blog in internet. I'm very interesting on your writing skill. I posses a similar interesting on islamic banking like you. So, I really happy if we can discuss regarding the development of islamic banking both in Indonesia and Sri Lanka. To starting discussion, i would like to explain the growth of islamic banking in Indonesia by emphasizing on X's experiences.

In end 2008, Indonesia has a five of sharia banks which are X Bank, Y Bank, Z Bank, A Bank and B Bank. X Bank is the most profitable sharia bank 2008 in Indonesia. The X's advantages than other sharia banks are its ability to reach the small and medium enterperises as well able to create the products is needed of market. In 2008, while the banking industries suffered liquidity shortages due to global financial crisis, X Bank was succeeding to maintain the third parties funds in convenience level.
