Please correct my sentence.

"According to me, english is a very interesting subject."

"English" needs a capital "E". Otherwise, your sentence is possible but unusual. While we say "According to him/her/them/etc.", we do not normally say "According to me".

To express your opinion, you would normally say "I think (that) English is a very interesting subject."
