Please correct my sentence

Which one is the correct to use, if no one, then how can I write a correct?

THIS:

...and all what later on was found of him was his teeth.



OR:



...and all that was later found of him was his teeth.

can you explane why you rather would use were?

because i think when you say him you need to write "was" if it's in imperfektum..?

If you turn the sentence around, I think you will see that 'were' works quite easily:

His teeth were all that were later found of him.

To me, you could use either 'was his teeth' or 'were his teeth'. Looking again at your sentence,
