Please correct my sentece.

The sentence is:

"Can you vouch for my friend to Michael?"

Is this correct? I doubt preposition 'to' in this sentence. Thanks in advance for replying.

Perhaps the way to change it is:
"Can you vouch for my friend in Michael's presence?"
"Can you vouch for my friend in front of Michael?"
