You have posted this several times. If you want the experts to take your question seriously, please provide full context so that we can understand your question better. Personally, I couldn’t understand the connection between the sentences.

Grammatically, they look ok, but I prefer “if” over “whether”. BTW, it’d be courteous to provide a name, instead of “Anonymous”.

Use "if" to express a condition.
You may borrow my car if you are careful with it.

Use "whether" to express alternatives.
She did not know whether to say yes or no.

I am planning a get-together. I am pondering whether or not I should invite Tony. He got out of hand with drinking last time. Whether implies a “yes” or “no “ outcome.

* I am planning a get-together. I am pondering if I should invite Tony…..

* You sent a birthday card to Mary 3 days ago. You are wondering if she has received your card.

* I left the house in a hurry. I wasn’t sure if I had turned off the lights

If – also has a conditional/ hypothetical usage. If you would lend me 100 dollars, I would promise to return it to you next week plus 10% interest”

“If” in the above contexts is implying an unsure but presumed condition.

Scenario:

You applied for a mortgage loan a month ago on a Monday. The bank called you 3 weeks later and left a message while you were on business trip, advising you that your loan:

Was approved / has been approved.

In this context, either one works.

So you told your wife: “Honey, good news; our loan got approved for the new house”.

I hope I am not confusing you…
