Grandma,
I left my tiny fingerprints all upon your walls
the messes I made with toys scattered up and down your halls.
There were sleepless nights and stressful yet you always made time when I wanted to play.
Soon enough I will grow,
and my tiny fingerprints will fade away.
So before they do I want to say
how much I truly love you,
and appreciate each and every one of those days!
I made a keepsake for you to treasure,
my 2-year-old fingerprints for you to remember
all those wonderful months we spent together.
