Should government spend more money on space exploration?

Personally, I think government should spend more money on space exploration. First, space exploration helps us learn more about what outside the Earth. For example, we can know about our solar system, how space environment affects on human’s body. It will satisfy our curiosity about the universe. Second, discovering space give us many advanced technologies. People have invented a great number of technologies to explore the universe and even make our lives on the Earth better, such as weather satellites which is very essential to forecast the extreme weather and save a lot of lives on the Earth. Finally, human can find new useful resources in the universe. We can use these resources to build more technologies and replace the Earth’s exhausted natural resources. In conclusion, I strongly agree that government should fund space exploration and it is very important for our lives.
