Is it better to use public transport or drive your own car?

Many people think that using public transportation is better than driving our own car. In my opinion, I strongly agree with this for some reasons. Firstly, taking the public transit is good for environment. Public transport like bus and subway can reduce large amounts of carbon dioxide emissions. Therefore, it will make the air cleaner. Secondly, using rapid transit can decrease traffic jams in the city. It reduces the great number of vehicles on the road, so the possibility of traffic jams in the city will be declined, especially in rush hour. Finally, using public transportation help us to save lots of money which we spend on traveling every day. We don’t need to pay lots of money to buy fuel for our own car, so it will reduce our daily travel expense. To sum up, I personally feel that using public transport is superior to driving our private car and improve our lives.
