Please correct my motivation letter;my deadline is near

"There is nothing like a dream to create the future" goes the adage. A rewarding career in Infectious Diseases and Immunology has been my lifetime dream and goal. During each phase of my career I have been working towards this persistently. My immediate step for applying for the summer internship program in your esteemed institute is the outcome of my endless search and boundless interest. I would strongly encourage you to consider my application if you are looking for energetic and diligent candidate.

I am a Bachelor in Biochemistry (2000-2003) and Masters in Molecular Biology (2003-2005) from University of Madras with a strong inclination for research in Immunology. Having gained a strong theoretical background in Immunology during my academic years, I am willing to explore further by experiencing hands on training on various cutting edge Immunotechniques. An internship program will be the immediate step to realize my ultimate goal of pursuing my Doctoral study in Infectious Diseases and Immunology.

An internship aboard opens a sea of opportunities to young aspiring scientist like me. It enhances an individual trait both intellectually and personally, prepares one's mind for challenges and helps to define the individual's attributes bringing out one’s strengths and weaknesses clearly. The global environment augments one's interest in the chosen stream making one more confident and competent. Thus I will be really thrilled if I am accepted for the internship program and be fortunate enough to learn all State-of -the-art techniques from erudite persons. The cultural environment would also mould be for betterment and provides a good chance of acquirement and disseminating good ideas and views.

Being proficient in academics I am a "people person" who mingles well with others. I have been an amicable person both in my academic and corporate environment. Both the streams have equally shaped me as an independent, flexible and competent individual with good communication & presentation skills.

Being excited about research and experimentation this stint will definitely serve as a preparatory program profoundly increasing my chances of reaching my utmost dream and goal. With an excellent academic background and strong interpersonal skills I firmly believe if being accepted for this program I would put my maximum efforts to strive for excellence.
