PLEASE correct my motivation letter for erasmus scholarship!
Hi! I've just find this wonderful and helpful site and i absolutely need your help! I've been writing an horrible cover letter in order to apply the Erasmus Programme and i'm NOTsure about it, but the deadline is tomorrow and i'm desperate! here is my letter, please please correct it for me! thanks!! 
I am writing this letter to let you know I am really interested in the Erasmus Programme.
I am currently attending the first year of the Linguistic and Cultural Mediation (applied at economics, law and society) Degree Programme at the University of Milan. I have decided to apply for this programme because I am strongly interested in knowing a new reality, a different style of living, and I think that it offers even more than cultural delights and entertainment. I am sure that it will be both a personal and acadamic enrichment.
Having looked through the materials of the Erasmus Student Network, I was delighted to find the oppurtunity of studying linguistics and humanities at the University of Cardiff for one semester. Why I am chosen Cardiff as my preferred destination, is that i would love to get in touch with British Culture. Despite I have been studying English as second language at the University, I have never had the chance of being in the United Kingdom in my student career, and I think it is a heavy deficiency in my linguistic and personal competence. Another reason for choosing Cardiff is that I was impressed by its modules system of study. Many of the subjects offered are not considered in such a great way in my University. For instance, there is not a School completely dedicated to Cultural Studies , as in Cardiff is. I am fascinated by the wide range of topics and modules that the Centre for Language and Communication Research offers, and by the Schools of both "Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies" and "English, Communication and Philosophy". Furthermore, I'm curious and enthusiastic about the possibility of studying English and Cultural Studies in United Kingdom, the cradle of Cultural Studies.
Spending one semester at the University of Cardiff will meant improving my English language abilities and culture knowledge in the inspiring, creative and cosmopolite environment of one of the most dynamic British universities.
