Please clear up your stuff before the construction work begins. Make sure you do not leave anything in the office.

Contractors will demolish the old structures and dig the floor which will result in ground vibration and elevated noise levels at and around the construction area. Please be patient and understanding. If you have any problems, please feel free to talk with me.

Looks fine to apart from 'please clear up your stuff' as this is a very very informal way of putting it and may not be appropriate for a work context. I would use 'Please clear away your belongings' if you mean personal items or 'Please ensure that your office is left clear and tidy' or 'Please pack all your paperwork into the provided boxes' or whatever is appropriate. Clear up your stuff sounds like you are asking a teenager to tidy their bedroom.

  • Do they need to remove all their work papers/equipment etc before the construction starts or just make sure everything is put away in desk/cupboards?
  • Let them know exactly what they need to do.
