Essay & Composition Writing

Please correct my issue writing. Thank you.

If someone can help me, i will appreciate a lot.

It is a common saying that as we rely more and more on technology, the ability of humans to think for ourselves will surely deteriorate. I have to say, for the first glance, it seems to be reasonable. Take the Internet for example. Before the innovation of the Internet, people were forced to solve problems through books or libraries if they could not think of solutions by themselves. It was a time-costing procedure. Thus, people were also forced to remember as many things as they could to avoid such spend. Compare to today, we can get as much of information from the Internet whenever we want. There is no more need to remember every specific knowledge in our brains. Maybe it is one of the reasons that people's ability to think for themselves seems to deteriorate

However, it is an illusion to take the ability to "memorize" as the ability to "think". I don't see the strong connection between these two different things. One of the major benefits of new technologies is to save our time and our strength, and we don't have to keep up every details in our brains as we did before. In fact, this change gives us a lot of extra time to think. We don't have to solve the easy problems that are taken by machines, instead we can focus on the real difficulties and complicated problems. Although people do not memorize as much as before, they use their time in more valuable problems.

Moreover, the powerful new technologies, such as computers and the Internet, sometimes bring out the explosion and openness of the knowledge. As people can get more and more information by themselves, it is not more likely that they will be directed by any kind of bias. What new technology brings actually promotes people to think by themselves.

For the reasons above, I don't totally agree the statement that as we rely more and more on technology, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surly deteriorate. I think whether this statement is true depends on how people use it. In certain situations, technology make people to think for themselves instead of deteriorate this ability.
