The line graph shows the percentage of changes in the birth rates in the two countries over an interval of 80 years. The information is shown for China and the US between 1920 and 2000.
As can be seen from the chart of changes in the birth rate in China went up steadily between the year of 1920 to 1935. Until it was considerably declined by the next 5 years at 5%. In the USA, the percentage of changes in the birth rate also minimally grow from 1920 to 1940. And then to 1942, there was a significant decrease from 15% to 4%. The China of changes in the birth rate reached a peak of around 20% in 1950.
Similarly, the USA increased to about 15% in the same year. Then the rate started fluctuating fall many time rate. It can be seen that, in general, both China and the USA had nearly the same percentage of changes in the birth rates, mainly continued to drop until it hit a low of point by 2000.
