Please correct my grammar and vocabulary usage?

Hi, I'm going to share a Santa Claus song video on my facebook but I'm not sure what to say. Should I say "While I've already known the truth about Santa Claus, this song is nevertheless still one of my favourite Christmas songs. "? Would you please correct my grammar and vocabularies here? "Christmas is near. It is time for us to show love to each other and reconcile after our past quarrels. Therefore, I decide to apologize if I insulted any of you before."
