Please correct my grammar and vocabulary usage?

Hi, I'm going to share a Santa Claus song video on my facebook but I'm not sure what to say. Should I say "While I've already known the truth about Santa Claus, this song is nevertheless still one of my favourite Christmas songs. "? Would you please correct my grammar and vocabularies here? Thank you

Tony

Hi again, I used to have some argument with my facebook friends before. Now I would like to reconcile with them. I am going to post something on my facebook note. Should I say something like this?

"Christmas is near. It is time for us to show love to each other and reconcile after our past quarrels. Therefore, I decide to apologize if I insulted any of you before."

Nice idea, Tony. One change:

Christmas is near. It is time for us to show love to each other and reconcile after our past quarrels. Therefore, I want to apologize if I insulted any of you before.

Thanks Micawber. Do I need to change anything in the first sentence? I have a feeling that the part "reconcile after our past quarrels

It is fine. If it were not, I would have fixed it.
