According to me, I totally agree that advertising plays an important role in our daily life as well as in the development of the economy.
First of all, advertising is the best way for companies to introduce their new products to potential customers. Advertising works as a bridge between manufacturers and their clients, facilitating customers to be more informed and understand their products. When someone wants to buy a new mobile phone, they need to know what kinds of mobile phones are available and then compare the functions and prices of them before making their final decision. Without advertising, no one knows the existence of these products on the market.
Secondly, advertising plays a major role in promoting revenues and enhance image of new brands. Numerous companies consider advertising as an effective tool for sale promotion. The more clients see and know their products, the more profits they gain. Last year, my father’s shoe company got into trouble with boosting turnover. But after expanding online advertising, the revenue of his company tripled over the last 6 months.
Last but not least, life without advertising would be very boring. In fact, advertisements exist everywhere from streets, bars to mass media and so on. Just imagine television or a newspaper or a radio channel without an advertisement, there would be no art, no culture, and no entertainment. The city would become dark and monotonous.
In conclusion, I believe that advertising is indispensable in our life because it can effectively deliver products' information to people, increase sale revenue and make life more enthusiastic.
