Please correct my essay. Thank you so much

In many countries, traditional food is being replaced by international fast food. This has negative effects on both families and societies. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

The ever-increasing eating habit of junk food is gaining popularity globally. In my point of view, I am strongly convinced that the proliferation of these unhealthy foods instead of native foods severely affected not only family units but the whole society as well.

First and foremost, one of the multifarious drawbacks of fast food eating may detach people from their family’s tradition. People are living in a competitive world and working longer and longer than their ancestors, thereby preparing a home-cooked meal is time-consuming. Proponents of fast food believe that they can save a lot of time and effort by buying taken-away food items. However, this eating behavior results in vagueness in family bonds and relationships. Preparing a meal at home is an exciting bonding activity for both parents and children, which shows their love and passes cuisine or experiences on children. For example, to teach children the art of home cooking, parents can guide them step-by-step on how to turn ingredients into delicious dishes. This way would be of great benefits to more bonding time and help young generations appreciate ancient values.

Undoubtedly, fast food also has a greater negative impact on society as families are a crucial part of forming happy lives. The productivity of the nation will be likely to come to a standstill when people are doing irreparable harm to short and long- term health. The high fat and sugar in junk food affects daily energy and contributes to the conditions such as obesity and heart disease. In addition, traditional food is inextricably linked to culture. Consequently, if parents often grab fast food for children for dinner, the local culture will absolutely die out.

In conclusion, overreliance on fast food is a pressing alarm. This results in a variety of negative consequences to individuals, families, and society. As a result, government and people should put forward effective ways to revert the dreadful trend.
