Please correct my essay "competitive sports in schools"

It is true that sports are becoming more and more integrated into school curriculum nowadays. While some people argue that competitive sports should excluded from the school program, I consider them as necessary part of teaching program in schools because of their benefits.
First of all, like any other kind of sports, competitive sports, both team and individual, help students to live healthily. When teenagers are involved in sport lessons given in schools, they can burn off calories, build and strengthen their muscles. Therefore, they can enhance and maintain their immunity to illness.
Moreover, competitive sports are naturally more exciting than non-competitive ones, so they can attract to more students to play and watch. As a result, the influence of competitive sports on students is certainly higher than non-competitive ones. These sports can help a large number of students to work off the study stress after doing sports as well as make students be relaxed excited when watching sport competitions.
Finally, doing sports could teach teenagers to adapt to work both independently and as a member of a team in their future. Sports activities in competitions arouse students’ motivation to try their best as well as help them to achieve and improve some useful skills, which are necessary in many professions. For example, students can be trained to think quickly and react immediately, so they are likely to be suitable in technical industries.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that competitive sports are highly valued in schools and hence, should be part of school curriculum. Students can accrue benefits of doing competitive sports in schools such as maintaining a healthy life, acquiring useful skills and being relaxed.
