Good morning
As a topic for my oral exam I have chosen chapter number 1,which is The hosiptal team. Now I would like to tell you in a few minutes what this chapter is about. I am going to talk about the hospital staff as well as wards in a hospital and also about nurse´s job.
A hospital is divided into wards in which works the staff who specialize in various fields.
All those workers must be fully-qualified,otherwise they have to take courses.
There is a reception usually standing next to the entrance where works a receptionist who responds to emergencies and gives first aid. He can help you find a cardiologist,paeditrician,physioteraphist,radiologist etc. He should give you every information about what is going on in the hospital. Or if you have come to apply for a job,he will send you to a personal ward.
Another person working in a hospital is called a pharmacist. Pharmacist prepares medicines to give to medical staff or patients. He can prepare a medicine for almost every disease. Today we have a huge amount of medicaments so the pharmacist has to be well aware of what type of medicine he sells and also a contraindication of medicaments.
