Please, correct my essay.

The lecturer states that the purpose of x-ray is to see through the skin to examine the bones and spaces inside the body or even objects that have been swallowed. When short x-ray waves run into another object they release energy in the form of a photon. If the object can absorb the photon energy, then an image is printed on a black piece of paper or film that is behind the object. Certain objects like bone are very strong collectors of x-ray photons but skin is not and that is why we can see the skeletal images of a person when they are x-rayed.
