At same time they conform almost sheepishly their peer’s standers of dress, music, and behavior. by quitting his job ,he has made a mistake and realize at the end of story that life is much harder than he ever anticipated. However, hewanted to impress Queenie in the group of girls that were in the story,he resorted to try to “take up” for them; however. In doing so, he overstepped his boundaries and thought he would be seen as a hero by the girls. As he walk out, though. The girls are gone and he realizes that he is not a hero at all.
