Please correct my comparison and contrast essay

What are the similarities and differences between living in an apartment and living in a ground house?

Nowadays, people say it is hard to decide whether to live in an apartment or a ground house when they get married. Although there are some similarities between the two types of accommodation, there are significant differences.

The main similarity between the two types of houses is that they offer lots of conveniences. People can benefit greatly from possessing a house compared to rent a bedsit. They do not have to consider some problems which are often caused by the landlords, for example, an increase in room rental. However, living in an apartment could differ from living in a ground house in some ways.

Firstly, there is a considerable difference in their cost. The price of an apartment is often not as much as a ground house. People even can buy an apartment on installments payment. By contrast, people have to pay the full amount of money in one go when buying a ground house. Another difference between an apartment and a ground house can relate to the living space which they offer. An apartment locates on one floor, and it is often set up in some patterns. Whereas, there could be more several rooms and floors in a ground house. The owner can freely build and arrange their house depending on their interest.

In conclusion, while living in an apartment or a ground house has some similarities, there are major differences, chiefly with the price and the living space between them
