Just trying to figure out if you want to trade a truth for three lies?

Top answer

(I'm) just trying to figure out [if / whether] you want to trade a truth for three lies. It's not a question, so don't use a question mark at the end. CJ

Better grammar is

eg I'm just trying to figure out if you want to trade a truth for three lies.

Of course, you need a context in which it makes sense to say this.
