Please correct me!

Hello
Explain the difference in meaning:
you are speaking like a teacher.(you are so well prepared that when you speak I might think you are a teacher)
you are speaking as a teacher(?)

You are speaking as a teacher (I think this means the speaker is a teacher). Whereas speaking like a teacher means that the speaker is exactly as you say "so well prepared one might think" he/she is, in fact, a teacher.
