Could you correct the 5 sentences please? How shall I write these?

1-- A card dealer isn't allowed to play in a casino within a 100 km of his.

2-- I am 3 assignments late behind with my work. I have a lot of catching up to do for this course if I am to pass.

3-- A mc Donald's opened up in the place of the supermarket that used to be here.

4-- You should rethink who you promote because I don't think he's the best man for the position.

5-- I tried to center the poster as much as possible on the wall.

The "of his" is okay. It's the "a 100 km" that's the problem.

1 I guess it might be OK. If you add 'another' (another casino), I can make sense of it.
2 I should choose one? Late?- Yes, or 'behind'.
3 A McDonald's opened up in place of..
4 You should rethink whom you promote....
5 You cannot 'center much'. As nearly / as precisely / as exactly
