Please correct 2 sentences

This was said in a tv show.

Context: Person A gets into a fight with Person B. Person B never wants to see Person A ever again. Person C talks to Person a to find a way to get Person B and A together again.
Person C tells Person A
Is 'humble yourself' correct. I've never heard that used. Is the sentence grammatical?

Humble yourself to the point where you get him (person B) to sit down and have a talk with you.

Is this sentence correct?
I don't think he knows how mean he can come across.

Thanks

Humble yourself = be willing to assume a low position ----> give up any attitude of superiority. The phrase is not used much and sounds rather biblical (in fact, it is found in the Gospel according to Matthew).
