Please Correct

I am Interested in applying to Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, Princeton University, Rutgers University, University of Texas in Austin and MIT.As a student my strengths are solving logical questions, applying the sciences that I learn in my school in my daily life and have a decent command over English. I would like to major in Computer Science as it helps me apply my logical thinking in it and give me the freedom to do what I want to do. I am also good at understanding a new subject faster which is useful for Computer Science. I went to US in July 2015 to search about the different programs offered by different Universities. Before I went I was in a doubt whether I should take computer science or mechanical engineering. When I visited the Princeton University, I met a professor Rajiv Gandhi, who gave an insight of Computer Science. Then I realized the importance of Computer Science over Mechanical Engineering. In the aspect of the future 70% of the world population is going to be urbanized. Due to this the world will be needing quick and efficient solutions. A countries power is going to measures in term of how developed is the IT sector of a country, so there will be a rapid growth in the IT sector too. There are going to be many researches about the space so there will be a large requirement of satellites with a capacity to interpret a large amount of information per second, so the IT sector is required. As the world is going to move into a software type of world from a hardware one, the amount of Cyber Security required will also increase. So the demand for Software Solutions will be more than the present.

I have attended a workshop called CS4 for Qatar hosted by CMU Qatar on February 6th 2016 which has reinforced my opinion to pursue Computer Science in Carnegie Mellon. There was a talk on the topic 'Computers in aid of criminal investigation' by a professor which motivated me more than before as the professor has walked us through the topic.

The world is looking for more innovative ideas which can be easily expressed through Computer Science
