Please corrcet my letter essay

Topic: A picture shows a university with two of the graduating students holding their children. Look at the picture, and then write a letter about 150-200 words to the president of your college explaining why your campus needs a day- care center

Dear Mr. President,

As you have known, women are taking important roles in our society nowadays. And we have been informed that a number of students in our college become early parents for some reasons. Therefore, we want to ask that if you could open a day- care center for babies and young children. This center will be very necessary because on-campus childcare brings so many benefits for student parents. Firstly, it has been proved to help student parents focus on their work at school ; also, help increase the productivity among them. As a result, the retention of students with infants will increase and so will on- time graduation rate. Secondly, just imagine how a day- care center can bring more caring for the next young generation. It allows students to visit their children throughout the day, which is better than leaving newborns alone at home. To summarize, we would be very grateful if you consider to have a day-care center built in the campus.
