Please convert the sentence to interrogative.

I tried: Why does a teacher correct the student by placing squirrel first and I tiger?

Context: Student tells a story to a class. Story goes like this: A tiger and a squirrel are on the tree. Then his teacher corrects him by saying: A squirrel and a tiger....

My Aim: I want to ask a question somebody, why did a teacher correct the student by placing squirrel first and tiger last
