Please comment on my process writing!

Task 1: The diagram below shows how to recycle organic waste to produce fertiliser (compost). Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

HERE'S MY WRITING:

The diagram depicts the way to make compost from organic waste. In general, there are five steps in the process and these steps can be divided into two main stages: preparation and composting.

In the stage of preparation, there are three steps. The first step begins when a 2m3 plastic container is prepared, with holes on the two sides of its body to circulate the air inside out . Then, 30 cm of mixed waste, containing newspaper, grass and food was added to the bottle. In the next step, nitrogen was added and hot water was poured into the mixture.

Moving to the second stage, the top of the container was sealed in order to let the heat come out through the crack. The process of heating and decaying lasts for a half year before the ingredients turn into compost.The process ends with the use of those compost to make fertilizer for gardens and other purposes.
