Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

‘Television has destroyed communication among friends and family”

There is no many of times for family to being the same place and watching a program show on television. So I do not agree with statement that television has been destroyed the relation and communication among family or among friends.

For one big family for example, it may consist of grandparents, parents, sons, daughters, and children. They have to respond to their daily own job or duties. The family members have less opportunity to have a breakfast together in the morning because parents have to go out for work, children have to go to school, or even grandpa may get off with friend for morning exercise somewhere. After working hours, however everyone get back from work, school or business. Besides having dinner, watching television is an activity that recruits all members sitting around each other. It is a time for talking, discussing, and enjoying. During a series is showing, parents can give their children suggestions about the series if the show has violence scenes. Even among friends, they can tell their friends about the last show they missed when they meet each other at college.

It is such a happy time for the family when they sit around the television. People usually have fruits, crackers, chips, or soft drinks during watching TV. For funny shows, family members can laugh and smiles. Numerous shows on TV provide the audiences about how to help less peoples, where people should go, or who is a good model person. Watching such shows can influence everyone in the family. Sometimes children have questions about people’s behaviours, such as violence behaviour, or peculiar characteristics. This is the best time for parents to explain and teach their kids.

From all above examples, I am a person that supports people to spend a family time together by watching TV. A family member can get closer together. Watching TV can keep the relation among family members strongly and pleasantly. It is the best time for parents to teach children by giving their examples from TV shows.
