please clarify my doubts in classifying adjectives

I have some doubts in classifying adjectives. Can someone please

clarify those?

1) The child fell down from a great height.

I am thinking in above sentence "great" is "adjective of

quantity"(how much) but it is answered as "descriptive". Is it

correct?

Because here it answers the question "how much height?"

2) He was absent "last" week.

In this sentence why "last" is not an adjective?

3) My uncle lives in the next house.

In this sentence "next" answers the question "which house"? So I

thought it is demonstrative adjective. But the answer is "descriptive"

why?
