Overall, there are nine main stages of producing, beginning with cacao tree, which is grown in S.America, Africa and Indonesia and ending with making liquid chocolate.
At the first stage, chocolate is from cacao tree, which is planted in S. America, Africa and Indonesia. Next step, all of ripe red pods, which contain white cacoa beans are harvested. After that, collected beans are fermented in a large wooden box before spreading in sun in order to dry.
Next, brown beans are put in large sacks and transported by train or lorry. After that, the beans are taken to factory in order to roasted. After roasting, all of outer shell, which does not need to make chocolate, is removed by crushing beans. In the final step, the inner part of the bean is pressed to produce liquid chocolate.
