Please check to see if my sentences are written correctly
Dr. Glasser proposes that to produce better educated students, school must utilize a “quality” curriculum which makes students active participants in the learning process. When students do not find quality in the material they will eventually lose interest, and they will not work as hard to learn the material.
The article states that in the past coercion was present in the classroom. Since that time, the students improved, but others did not. Teachers began questioning if coercion should be placed back into the classroom. Dr. Glasser’s answer was to use less coercion, and change the curriculum they were teaching by in order to become a Quality School. The students felt that the current curriculum was not worth learning. They did not find quality in the material so they did not work hard enough to learn it. When the students started to rebel against the low grades they received, teachers thought that coercion should be reenacted.
