The middle chapters of the history of Ghoshals expose the conflict between the Ghoshals and the Chatterjees. But, this time it was not about property but about the idol of goddess. The Chatterjees did not sit quite. They reiterated. In a short while, they created a gate obstructing the way to immersion of goddess. The team of taller idol went to destroy the gate. The team of shorter idol also went to break the head of opposite team. In this manner the Goddess was also successful in receiving a huge amount of sacrificial blood. This finally resulted in a legal battle between the Ghoshals and the Chatterjees. This battle stopped when the Ghoshals had reached the shore of downfall.
