Please check this sentence

Hi. Dictator states: He has a negative Tinel's at the elbow or wrist. (Tinel's is a neurologic test)

Shouldn't it be He has a negative Tinel's at the elbow and wrist?

Thanks for the information. I think I need that test. Yes, you are right that 'and' is the expected conjunction in your original sentence– unless, of course, the speaker does not know where the test was administered, and it was only administered at one of those locations.

I come here quite often for clarification regarding English usage. As transcriptionists, we are supposed to make minor corrections in our transcripts if the clinician/doctor makes erros in his sentence structure. I am not an authority on English and this forum has been quite helpful! When you said 'lost in space' did you mean 'lost in translation'!!
