Hi teachers or anyone else who would like help me. Please check this for me. Thanks in advance.

I knew he was sick, but he always had a smile on his face when I talked to him, so I didn't think it was anything to worry about. But later I could tell that the smile got more and more strained, so I sensed that it was more serious than he would let me know. And unfortunately I was right. He died a month ago and I miss him terribly.
