However, I was able to convince my boss to waive the projected 10% increase in price which reflects the increased costs. As a result, we will be able to build your stand for the same price as last year.

What is the exact difference between "to persiade" and "to convince" In italian I can use both "persuadere" nebo "convincere" no real difference. How is in English?

thanks for the remark, but I used "Dear Sir" just here in the forum, I didn´t want to report the real name....
In my e-mails I usually write Dear ...and name of the customer I am referring to.
One thing I don´t get, why Best regards doesn´t fit with "Dear Sir" ? This is not clear to me
