What I am trying to know is using 'would' properly. Even if someone gave me the money to live there, I wouldn't live there,I wouldn't live there, even if someone gave me a free apartment. Aren't these sentences correct? ?

Those sentences are fine. However, they are not appropriate in your original conversation.
