Hi, dear forum users. I am going to apply for scholarship program in Sweden and need to write a reference letter, since my referee has no time to write it for me (he can only check and sign it). So,I will be very gratefull for you, guys, if you can review it and give some feedback whether concerning grammar or style. Thanks you a lot
How would a scholarship be valuable for the professional and academic development of the applicant?
I am pleased to write in support of Ms. XXX as an excellent candidate for the XXXX Programme. I have known XXX since September 2013 as her final paper tutor. XXX is studying Environmental Entrepreneurship and showing strong interest in this area, especially in problems of investment in green business. Due to the high level of knowledge and motivation, XXX was chosen for internship at Financial service department at ABC. As I know, her supervisor at ABC highly evaluated her input at department’s performance and asked her to resolve the issue of green project financing at her paper work as extremely urgent problem for company. Now XXX is working on this project and showing significant results, which, I believe, will be taken into account by the company. Since Sweden is one of the leading world countries in developing green and innovative business, this programme will contribute to XXX’s professional and academic growth and allows her to obtain a priceless experience in collaboration with colleagues all over the world, addressing global problems of sustainable development. Being a high performer, XXX was among the upper 10% of her group of 60 persons. XXX proved to have an inclination towards scientific and research work, but at the same time the practical issues are extremely valuable for her.
Therefore, staying in the multinational surrounding will enable XXX to widen her horizons and find the reliable partners for future cooperation. As XXX is open-minded person and easily assimilates new information, getting Master’s degree in Swedish university allows her to enhance significantly her professional skills and become a top-ranking professional.
