We who live in Dhaka, every day we suffer for traffic jam because of the road development or repair work. Hour after hour, we stand for traffic jam. For this reason, our precious time being wasted. Beside this we also suffer for water, gas and electricity problem. These problems are increasing day by day instead of decrease. All these problems are being for sustainable development. Sustainable development means the type of development activities which will meet current needs without any damage to the environment and be able to meet demand in the near future.
Another aspect is the sustainable development that the community has participated in the development work. Suppose, in a rural village has been created some hygienic toilet. But the villagers do not know how it is use properly. For this reason this development work is not sustainable. So it is never sustainable development if the participants do not take part in the development work.
The main key of sustainable development is banishment the poverty and to release the hidden resources that already be present within all those poor communities.
