Human activities have negative effects on plant and animal species. Some people think it is too

late to do anything about this problem. Others believe that effective measures can be taken to

improve this situation. Discuss both views and give our opinion.

It is undoubtedly true that human activities have an adverse impact on the flora and fauna. While it is believed that it is too late to do anything, I would argue that appropriate measures will help to deal with this tremendous issue.

On the one hand, some people think that mankind cannot do anything to save a wildlife. First, owing to a great deal of deforestation, the plant kingdom are significantly damaged. If we want to cure this issue, we will have to plant a wide range of trees in order to regenerate the flora. However, it will took a large number of time; thus, this will not be productive. Second, there are a variety of living organism such as plants and animals which are nearly disappeared. The rhinoceros or polar bear, for instance, are on the brink of extinction due to overhunting and ice melt, which are all the consequences of humankind. As a result, it will come up an ecologist crisis which can adversely threaten people’s lives.

On the other hand, a number of efficient measures can lead to solve this problems. A better method would be that the authorities should outlaw lawful hunting and deforestation. The South African’s government, for example, have enacted a law in order to prevent their wildlife habitat from being hunted dramatically. Hence, their action play an integral part in saving the endangered species from die out. In addition, the supreme court should raise people’s awareness of protecting wildlife habitat. If residents do a range of minor activities such as stop littering, grow plants on a daily basis, it will lead to a great contribution to recover wildlife habitat in the long run.

In conclusion, although some people say that we cannot stop habitat destruction, I strongly believe that appropriate remedies can help to curb this problem.
