Please check the correctness

Understand that you are off today.
Just to inform you that I am intending to renew my daughter passport this month.
But unfortunately I lost my tenancy registration certificate from my side. I cannot complete the renewal process without this document.
Hence I have requested to your office this morning to provide my registration number, so I can print it directly from the website.
But I still confused why your office asking me for the documents again for the registration process since I presume that I have already done my tenancy registration during my renewal time.
