1. Monitors merchandise inventories.
2. Coordinates with stores manager on key visual merchandising efforts.
3. Submits timely and accurate reports related to the arrival of new stock or the remaining stock in the store.
4. Assists in promoting new brands introduced in the market by creating awareness among the customers.
5. Assists in developing customer relationships and carrying on a cordial relation with the existing customers.
6. Ensures all display materials and in store displays in accordance with agreed programs as per the monthly sales plan and display is erected on time.
7. Ensures maximum shelf space for the company’s products in every store by effective space management programs, increased product ranges / lines and new product acceptance.
8. Ensures distribution.
9. Keeps track of company products entering leaving stock room of the assigned accounts.
10. Puts merchandise on the sales floor / shelves.
11. Reports any business opportunities, expiry issues and stock situation to the responsible sales person.
12. Follows each brand's merchandise plan.
13. Performs other related functions and duties as may be assigned by the superiors.

14. Strictly monitors balance of steel in the port.
15. Strictly monitors transfer of steel to its branches.
16. Responsible in encoding and preparing all transportation reports, and trailer drivers monthly allowances.
17. Prepares daily sales report.
18. Prepares delivery notes and invoices.
19. Generates reports for enquiries regarding entered data.
20. Maintains an efficient and effective record management system for data.
21. Sets up invoice filing systems.
22. Assists in preparing mill certificates.
23. Coordinates with finance regarding trailers income and drivers allowances.
