Hi teachers,
The context:
Felix stared at the telephone on his desk. ‘Where is Dinon?’ he said slowly. ‘People are helping him, but why? He’s a murderer. And nobody wants to help us.’
Would the question and answers be appropriate?
Did Felix get the picture?
No, he didn’t. He said that people were helping him, but why? He was a murderer.
I think, 'And nobody wants to help us', is unnecessary in the answer, isn't, it?
