Topic: Online classes make conventional classrooms unnecessary. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this day and age, technology is being utilized in education, namely online classrooms. This is changing the way teachers impart lessons as well as the way students gain knowledge. As a consequence, it is said that online classrooms will soon be the dominant way of education. I partly disagree with this statement as the benefits of conventional classrooms should not be overlooked.

On the one hand, online classrooms play a major role in the change of education. In the first instance, online classes are famous for its flexibility. This is due to the fact that learners can study anytime, anywhere simply with just a device connected to the Internet. Furthermore, studying via the Internet facilitate students to be more excited. With the help of technology, it is easier for each member to be enthusiastic during the class. For instance, students can share their screen view and present projects through Zoom, which attract more attention than normal presentations.

On the other hand, conventional classrooms are still advantageous. First, this type of education requires seriousness. Thanks to strict supervision of teachers and schools, students can be more focus on their study as well as being honest in exams. This can hardly be achieved in online classes as students can cheat in tests or being distracted by opening another tab during the lessons. In addition, only by conventional classrooms can students deeply understand certain subjects. By way of illustration, Physics and Chemistry requires a great number of experiments and students may need help from teachers. Hence, not only can they understand more about the lessons, but it also creates excitement.

In conclusion, although online classrooms are well-known for its convenience and excitement, conventional classrooms are also beneficial in terms of supervising students and learning certain subjects.
