Question

The bar chart compares the number of hours parents spend with their offsprings on weekends and weekdays.

Overall, most of the children's time is spent with their mother while the whole family will have more time at weekends. It is also noticeable that most of the time, the child will be supervised by their mother either by herself or with her husband.

At weekdays, the number of hours the children are with their father are approximately 2 hours. On the other hand, the mother will take care of the child by herself about 4 hours a day, which is nearly twice as many as those at weekends.

At weekends, the time when the whole family are together are roughly 6 hours, which is about 3 times as many as those at weekdays. The mother will spend about 4 hours a day looking after the children, comparing to below 2 hours of the father
