Letter Writing
Please check our Christmas Wishings
Hi Folks,
we, an indipendant germany based filmmaking company, want to send good wishings to our Friends and customers.
While already sending emails to our largely german friends we realised that 3 of them dont speak german - so we quikly tried to translate our letter.
Here is the result. We bag you to check it for the ugly mistakes

Dear friends and business partners,
the declining Year shall bring a Merry Christmas and delight with a successful and bright new year transition into 2012.
---or alternatively
the Year drawing to a close shall bring a Merry Christmas and delight you all with a successful and bright transition into 2012.
We here at SteelWorX want to thank all those who stood by our side with advice and support for plans, projects, and especially our first feature film. We light a candle of peace and friendship for all who have taken this big step with us. More steps shall follow, cinematically as well as human, steps that make us meet fortunate times, steps that will not let us forget their commencement.
With all Good Wishes for Christmas and the New Year

As we are a "theatre" company it is ok that our letter has a little "pathos" in it

Liebe Freunde und Geschäftspartner,
das sich dem Ende neigende Jahr soll Euch ein besinnliches Weihnachtsfest bescheren und beglücken mit einem erfolgreichen und silvesterleuchtenden Übergang ins Jahr 2012.
Wir von SteelWorX danken allen, die uns mit Rat und Tat bei Plänen, Projekten und ganz besonders bei unserem ersten Kinofilm zur Seite standen. Wir zünden eine Kerze des Friedens und der Freundschaft an für alle, die diesen großen Schritt mit uns gegangen sind. Mögen daraus weitere Schritte folgen, filmisch wie auch menschlich, Schritte, die uns gemeinsam glücklichen Zeiten näher bringen, Schritte die uns nicht vergessen lassen, woher sie ihre Anfänge nahmen.
